How to Elevate a New Space
We’ve been in LA for about a month now, and I’m glad to report that our apartment is coming right along. James has been great about assembling our furniture the second they arrive, and I’ve been quickly styling every surface, nook, and cranny.
I will say, though, our apartment was still looking quite bare until we finally got around to hanging our lovely Desenio prints. If you can recall, I ordered a couple gorgeous prints for my last office that really helped keep me motivated and inspired while I was there.
I wanted these new prints to make me feel at peace and ease while lounging at home, almost like a ying-yang, which is sort of what the two larger prints resemble in my opinion. They’re slightly the same, but different in their unique way – which I thought was really cool. I added in the abstract nudes print from my last office because I felt it really helped pull everything together for a cool, layered look.
I can’t even emphasize how much these prints help bring the place together. I even ordered another print for the bathroom, this cactus print, which is one of my favorite corners of the house – but I’ll save that for another post! 😉
